Welcome to Charleston, SC

We stayed for two nights at the KOA Holiday in Mt Pleasant. It was a beautiful RV park. Even has a red caboose available to rent for your stay.


After arriving and getting set up, we went into Charleston to check out the French Quarter area.

Pineapple Welcome Fountain at Charleston’s Waterfront Park welcomes everyone to the city. The pineapple motif is common throughout Charleston. It symbolizes hospitality,

Music at the pier:

It was very peaceful in the park and out on the pier. I loved the swings under cover. At first I just thought they were additional benches.

Ft. Sumter can be seen across the Charleston Harbor.
