Barry and I went to the “RV Show After Party” that was held across from the fairgrounds at The Wing House Bar & Grill. Luckily it was scheduled for Thursday evening which was our second day (and last day) at the Tampa RV Super Show. It was so cool to see Marc & Julie Bennett (RV LOVE), Marissa and Nathan Moss (Less Junk<More Journey), Peter and John (RV GEEKS and hosts of The RVers), Kyle & Olivia Brady (Drivin’ & Vibin’), Tom & Caitlin Morton (Mortons on the Move), and Traveling Robert all in one place!! Someone said “You, Me & the RV” were inside, but we missed them. ๐
It was nice that Robyn and Scott (whom we met at The RV THING) arrived earlier than we could, and had a table where we were able to join them. John and Priscilla also from The RV THING sat with us.
Brian (LivinRVision) stopped by our coach prior to the party. It was good to see him again. We started to get to know Brian and Michelle when we met last month at Sunshine Key RV during the Christmas Luau. They came to the After Party which gave us a chance to catch up while we waited for the crowd to thin out. We look forward to seeing each other again out west somewhere. Fun couple!
It was super crowded for a good hour or two, but then the crowd thinned out significantly. That’s when Barry and I were actually able to have a more genuine conversation with several of these featured YouTubers. We started watching the YouTube channels of most of them as we prepared to launch into our full time life in our new ClassA . It’s kind of weird that we feel like we already know most of them from watching their videos for the last 2 to 3 years, yet we are complete strangers to them. It was cool to take a picture with them.
I meet Marc and Julie Bennett (RV LOVE Travel) at the RV Life booth earlier in the day since I thought I’d have a better chance to talk to them there versus waiting for the big meetup that night. These two were key in our preparation to our full time RVing. Together they put together the online “The RV Success School”. It is a wealth of information that is organized in one place. It is not just for those wanting to be a full-time Rver! I highly recommend you check it out. It was definitely worth it to me!
Meeting such amazing, and positive people as we enjoy this nomadic lifestyle is such an enriching bonus. We are quite likely to have our paths cross again as we all continue this full time RV life.
Unfortunately, we missed meeting Phil and Stacy (You, Me & the RV). I blew it with their scheduled times at the RV show because they were scheduled for two different booths on different day. Dang it! Evidently they were at the After Party, but they weren’t in the area where we were. Ironically, we had run into them a year ago at the Desert Bar in AZ, but didn’t realize it. DUH! How do I know if I didn’t recognize them? I discovered their card in our collection. I guess we hadn’t discovered them on YouTube yet back then. We, however, watch them regularly now. Videos are well done and filled with great info. Plus we enjoy their personalities. (That really is important when you follow someone regularly.)
It was really nice being able to get together again and chat! Hopefully there will be many more days to come through the years.

P.S. We actually spell our channel name with no โgโ… LivinRVision
DUh–I knew that…I will look for it and correct it. ๐ Thanks
