New Friends at Gulf Waters Resort

I love how social the rv lifestyle can be, but it is also sad that sometimes as you get to know another couple, it is time that one of you is moving on to a new place. We met Gary and Patty from Illinois this week while playing pickleball. Gary and I enjoyed playing with and against each other. They stopped by and visited after pickleball one day, and we stopped over at their place a couple times. We had such a good time getting to know each other. Gary wasn’t too happy to hear we were leaving the next day already. It is nice to click with people who don’t have to be drinking to socialize. Staying active is important to all four us. We just had a lot in common. We don’t know when or if we will see each other again. Gary and Patty come to Gulf Waters each winter for 2 or 3 months, but have a home in Illinois. I think we’d have to come back to GW or visit them in Illinois if we are to see them again. Either is possible. 🙂
