Master Bedroom Fan

The ceiling fan we selected for the master bedroom came from Lowe’s. It is the Harbor Breeze Bradbury #2599780. We went with a 48-inch one, so that it wouldn’t overpower the room. We also chose to have the gray-weathered wood side of the blade as opposed to the dark walnut side to promote a more soothing, relaxed feeling to the bedroom.

Why this fan? We like the overall appearance. The brushed nickel and gray blades (opposite side from the dark walnut) would work best with the bedroom colors and the brushed nickel fixtures in the master bathroom. Remote will allow for quick adjustments while in bed. And of course the light is dimmable. That is always a plus.

The fan really gives great air flow. This will be great as the weather warms up. It has a reversible mode to move warmer air that we may use during December and January when we likely use a little heat during the night and early morning hours. Yes, it does get chilly here in the winter, but it is all relative to what you are used to. 🙂

Barry attached the fan’s remote holder to MY nightstand. YEA! I’m usually the one who needs air at times through the night. Besides, he has “control” of the TV remote and the remote for the adjustable bed. How many remotes can one nightstand handle? Although seriously, it will be nice to not have to fumble around at night to find the fan remote to make any quick changes to air flow.
