Barry and I pulled into the Encore park, Paradise RV Resort in Sun City, AZ on July 17 to stay for a week. OMG It is SO dang hot!!! 103-112 degrees! And guess what!?!? The pool that is open 24 hours at this 55+ park doesn’t have a drop of water in it!! They drained it the day before we got there for a month of maintenance, repainting. It was bone dry! Seriously!?!? Our jaws dropped as we stared in shocked silence. We really couldn’t believe what we were seeing!

We got to spend some quality time with my brother, Montana (previously known as Larry), and his beautiful wife, Karen. It has been about 12 years since I’ve seen them. Not only was this time with my brother important to me, I so appreciated getting to know my sister-in-law! They are really good for each other! Karen was his high school sweetheart. He has always been in love with her. How sweet he finally found her again.
