When we returned from our week out at Silver Strand State Beach, we were able to use our dear friend Jill Holden’s lease site for our 3 weeks would take us to June 30. Jill left over a month ago to physically move to SC. Her lease wasn’t up till July 1, so it worked out for us to have this opportunity. We never thought much about the lease sites because we were doing fine with our membership just coming in at no additional charge to stay our 3 weeks, leave for a week and come back, or move on. BUT OMG! What wonderful privacy! Not only were our neighbors on both sides not around while we were on Jill’s site, but there is a hedge between each lot. We had no one in front or behind us. We had a nice concrete patio. The entire site was nice and spacious. We were very much enjoying this new world of lease sites and decided to look into it.
Unfortunately, Jill’s site was leased to someone else as of July 1, so her site was not an option. However, the cons of the site were the amount of traffic that goes by lack of phone signal and WiFi. Dave Dargie and Deb in the sales office were trying to get us to take E-53. We didn’t think we’d fit very easily in the triangular spot. It would have privacy due to the angle alone, but we needed some room and we didn’t want to be right at the edge of the road. After a few days, I went to see Dave and let him know that IF they could level the site better, get us gravel and trim the trees, we would take the site provided we could fit. Deal!
